45 And a charity suffereth long, and is kind,and envieth not, and is not puffed up, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked,thinketh no evil, and rejoiceth not in iniquity but rejoiceth in the truth, beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.

The Spirit helps us remember God's hand in our lives which leads us to love God more deeply which leads us to become more and more like Him. (President Henry B. Eyring, Ensign November 2007)

Diligent and sincere prayer for charity is the doorway to enduring, everlasting, love.,

“True charity is love in action. The need for charity is everywhere” (Thomas S. Monson, Ensign November 2010) Quoted in "Daughters in my Kingdom" chapter 6. There was such a wonderful list of what charity is as I read through President Monson's longer quote in that chapter today. That above simple portion of the quote is a wonderful summary.
